One of the early entrants to the Northwest glass scene, Christopher first studied at The Pilchuck School in 1983 with glass masters such as Betil Vallien. He has worked at major glass blowing facilities including Tom Philabaum Glass Studios and Chihuly, Inc.. He went on to pioneer the educational program at Seattle Glassblowing Studio before building his own studio in 1997. His art reflects his bond with color, pattern and form. He is involved with every aspect of glass making at his studio. His works are widely collected throughout the US and overseas.

Tiger Eye Series
The Tiger Eye series is an interwoven compilation of colors. A unique blend of amber, blue, brown, cream, mauve and turquoise create an enchanting effect across each piece. The red vessels mixed with tiger eye are the perfect example of Christopher's true mastering of the medium. Red glass is molten at a certain temperature while the tiger eye glass colors are molten at a different temperature. The technical feat that is achieved through his ability to create works with a mixing of the two colors is truly a sight to behold! Every piece is distinctly unique with it's own characteristics.
