Kayan Vessels

In the corner of north-western Thailand, the women of the Kayan Tribe practice the tradition of wearing neck rings. Chris was initially inspired by this body modification to create a lanquid, organic vessel. While the piece begins as a geometrical vase, he uses tools to contort the body and capture the sinuous motion. Available in Colors: Aquamarine, Bittersweet Red & Viridian. Aquamarine Pictured.
